• A three session event

Introductory Pairs Qualifying Rounds (Played at Clubs)
• Sessions may be run as part of the normal club session

is fine. If you have run this as part of a normal session please delete non-participating
pairs
• The CLOSING DATE for submission of results is Wednesday 18 October 2008. Clubs
will be notified of qualification numbers by Monday 23 October. It is the participating
club's responsibility to ensure results are received – numbers may be telephoned through
to Darren if necessary.
• Any vacancies arising in the semi-final should be filled from the local heat
• Non qualifiers are eligible to play in the Swiss Pairs event
Prizes: The winning pair (only the winning pair) from each heat will receive free entry to
the Semi-Final
• Masterpoints: Club awards if awarded locally

may be filled by a random draw of any available non-qualifiers
