Competitions

Each month there is a Saturday night event at Clifton, organised by Chris and Clive. We meet at 6:00pm for food and Duplicate Bridge starts at 7:00pm.

The Bridge Format changes alternately, from Teams to Pairs. A Handicap system ensures that everyone has a chance of winning.

The Troughers Trophy (third Saturday of each even month) has teams drawn at random to combine an "Expert" pair with an "Improvers" pair. The winners of the trophy are judged on the basis of the best 4 performances out of a possible 6 in the year.

The Allott Trophy (third Saturday of each odd month) is a Pairs event, again with the Trophy going to the winners on the basis of the best 4 performances out of a possible 6 in the year
